How to delete your account
- Sign in and open Your account.
- Scroll to Delete account, type your email address (and your password, if your account has one) and press Delete my account.
Deletion happens immediately and can’t be undone.
If you can’t sign in
Email info@gigg.live from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We’ll delete it and confirm by reply, normally within a few days.
What is deleted
- Your account: your name, email address and password, and any Google sign-in link.
- Your band memberships, your profile (display name, instrument, bio and photo) and your sign-in sessions.
- Your practice replies, your unavailability entries and any personal equipment you listed.
- A band you solely own that has no other members is deleted along with everything in it (songs, setlists, shows, media and chat).
What stays, and why
Some things you contributed belong to the band as much as to you, so they remain for the band’s other members — but they are no longer linked to your account:
- Chat messages you wrote (shown as from “someone who’s since left”).
- Earnings you logged, photos and videos you uploaded, songs you proposed and invite links you created.
If you’d like specific content removed as well, ask a band owner to delete it before you leave, or email info@gigg.live.
If you’re the only owner of a band
If other people are in the band, make one of them an owner first (Members page), then delete your account. Otherwise the band would be left with nobody in charge.
